Art Rental
Art rental is an affordable and flexible way to enjoy original 2-dimensional art. Our Art Rental Program represents approximately 40 artists with over 120 original works in a wide variety of styles and subjects. Artworks include paintings, photography and mixed media.

Whether selecting for home or office, the Art Rental Service allows corporate and individuals to rent works of art, at a small percentage of the purchase price (rental costs are a fully deductible business expense for corporations). With average pieces renting from $20 a month, this is an affordable way to change pictures regularly or experiment before purchasing. The Showroom is located of our Red Station in the Gallery and is open during regular Gallery hours. All visitors are welcome to browse and buy in the Showroom.
ART RENTAL HOW TO
To rent artwork*,
[1] you need to have a current membership with Station Arts Centre ($50 for an annual fee)
[2] complete a Art Rental Client Contract. This is done in person during gallery hours.
Artwork can also be purchased outright – no membership required.
RENT ART FOR YOUR HOME
If you are intending to purchase original art, you can rent work while deciding which piece to invest in. If you just moved into a new space, you can rent art to fill bare walls and create a lived-in feeling. When you plan to sell your home, home staging with original artwork can increase the aesthetic appeal of your residence. Art Rental is also an inexpensive way to impress your guests or create a distinctive mood for a special event or dinner party, or your home office!
RENT ART FOR YOUR PLACE OF BUSINESS
Enhance the atmosphere of your work environment. Use artwork at a restaurant, spa or office to create ambiance and energize the space. Art Rental provides exposure for local artists and acts as a tax-deductible expense for your business. Browse the collection online then visit us in person to confirm your selections, fill out the paperwork and pick up the artwork.

*Note that membership is not required for the outright purchase of art from our collection.
Want to consign with us?
Artists who would like to have their art on consignment, for rental and sale, are invited to send up to ten digital images of art for consideration. Submissions are reviewed twice annually in June and December by our Arts Sales Committee and decisions on acceptance of artworks will be made within one month of submission. Simply complete the application here to express interest and we will be in touch!
