OXford Studio Tour

Get ready for an exciting, free, and creative experience!

The Oxford Studio Tour invites you to discover the vibrant world of local art throughout Oxford County. With nearly 30 talented artists showcased at 13 unique locations, it’s a celebration of creativity you won’t want to miss.

Join us at The Station Arts Centre, where we’re proud to feature 4 incredible artists:
Jared Smith -
Unique and imaginative paintings created using reclaimed objects, acrylic paint, and metal elements.

Margaret Trapnell - Realistic and detailed artwork crafted with coloured pencil and watercolour.

Megan McKiernan - Traditional watercolour paintings, which the artist hopes will bring joy and peace through whimsical characters and beautifully detailed backgrounds.

Barbara Lowik - Stunning stained glass art filled with geometric patterns, vibrant colours, and graceful curves.

Dates: May 3rd & 4th
Time: 10 AM to 5 PM

Big Cheese Day's

Every Saturday in may!

Big Cheese Days happen every Saturday in May and are packed with fun, unique activities and experiences for all ages!

During our Big Cheese Day event you can create your own mini masterpiece to be displayed on The Station’s 'Say Cheese' selfie wall, while enjoying the Farmers Market from 8AM - Noon!

 

Details: 

Your artwork will be created on watercolor paper and added to the brand new selfie wall, which is an art piece in itself, designed by our talented MSC students and featuring ornate, beautiful frames.

 

Date: Every Saturday in May

Time: 9:00AM - 12:00PM

Fun for all ages! Free to attend our activity but donations welcome!

Studio Sale Fundraiser 

The Studio Sale Fundraiser is BACK!! - Join us as we raise funds for youth programs, while promoting recycling and upcycling in the arts! 

 

How it works: 

Thanks to generous donations from our community, we're offering unwanted (but still wonderful!) art supplies at super affordable prices. Every purchase helps support local youth arts programs, reduces waste, and breathes new life into creative materials.

 

Why Attend?

Support the Community! - Proceeds go directly to youth programming. 

Budget-Friendly Creativity! - Stock up on supplies without stretching your wallet. 

Get Inspired! - Find a source of inspiration with new supplies!

Call for Artists!

Turtlefest exhibit

 

The Tillsonburg Station Arts Centre invites artists (emerging and established) based in Tillsonburg and Area to submit one of a kind, handmade works of art inspired by Turtles for our month-long art exhibit in our Patenaude Family Gallery.

 

Submission details: 

The artwork is expected to incorporate the following themes: An interpretation in any medium inspired by Turtles.

  • Dimensions aren’t specified, but we ask works to be no larger than 4ft x 4ft. (if sculptural, please notify tverbuyst@stationarts.ca for more information)

  • All works must be hang ready by Gallery standards - if unsure on these, please reach out to tverbuyst@stationarts.ca 

  • All works much be for sale - Gallery takes 20% commission on Sales 

  • All works must stay on display for the entirety of the exhibit June 13th - July 11th 2025

  • All artists with works submitted we ask to be present at the Opening ceremony of Turtlefest and the exhibit on Friday June 13th at 4pm.

Submission Deadlines:

May 2nd: JPG submissions due at 11:59 pm EST
May 9th: Any artists that submitted more than one work will be notified on how many were selected
June 6th & 7th: All works delivered to the Gallery

 

Exhibit dates: 

Exhibit runs June 13th - July 11th, 2025

Summer Camp Launch!

Summer Camp Sign-Ups Begin on March 13th at 10:00 AM!


To register, please send an email to tverbuyst@stationarts.ca with the subject line "Summer Camp (Child's Name)".
In your email, please include the following information:
- Child's name
- Age
- Completed registration form


Please note, sign-ups are on a first-come, first-served basis. Any emails received before 10:00 AM on March 13th will be placed at the bottom of the list and registration will only be finalized once payment is received.


We are always thrilled by the high number of sign-ups we receive, but we kindly ask for your patience as we are a small staff.
