We will explore size of the finished product , how to work out a ‘colour board’ and how to use your ‘worksheet’ as your guide for a simple to intricate painting.

Materials:

Your OWN photo ( NOT a magazine or copied photo) 4” x 6”

HB pencil, eraser

Assorted colour pencils ( bring what you have; instructor will have some available)

Fine point coloured pen ( red or green – not black or blue)

Non wax transfer paper ( can be purchased from the instructor at beginning of class if you do not have)

Water colour paper, half or full sheet for final painting PLUS scrap piece of same type and weight W/C paper

Your palette with your normal selection of paints, brushes, bucket(s) for water etc

Note book or writing pad for taking notes and instruction. (optional)

Transfer paper/ Newsprint will be provided
