Slow down and immerse yourself in a quieter time. Explore a local cemetery to read old gravestones and the hauntingly beautiful messages they leave behind. Learn how to safely make a rubbing of old stonework, and turn that rubbing into a one of a kind piece of artwork. Classes will be split between time spent in the studio and time spent exploring old stones in a local cemetery. All materials included. Students are asked to bring along a sketchbook/ notebook, measuring tape, and pencil.
