Beginner Pottery Wheel with Karen Robinson (2 Workshops)

About the Event

The program itself is a beginner workshop that will introduce the participants to the art of wheel throwing.

Participants will learn wedging, centering and forming walls, and will understand that it is a practice that makes perfect artform and to not be too disappointed if they leave with little creations.

The instructor will spend the two days helping the participants perfect their hand and body form to assist with creating bowls and vases.

The second day will consist of showing how to trim their piece for the final shape before being fired.

All completed pieces will be glazed after firing and returned back to the Participants within 3 weeks.
