Welcome Back!

What you need to know before you visit the Tillsonburg Station Arts Centre

The Station Arts Centre will be reopening Saturday July 4th regular hours of 9-4pm. We will continue to assess the current COVID situations and adjust accordingly.

The Station Arts Centre has missed their creative artists, friends, families and community and are excited to welcome you all back.

As the Station Arts Centre reopens, our priority is the safety of all visitors and staff. We want to welcome you back in a safe environment so you can reconnect with the remarkable art and artists in our current exhibitions, browse our selection of amazing wares from local artisans and touch base on programs, kits, and tourism information.

We know it’s been an unpredictable and unbelievable few months, and going forward we have new safety protocols and regulations following Public Health that will be in place at the Gallery. We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.

Plan your visit:

To ensure the well-being of both the Station Arts Centre and visitors, new safety protocols have been established:

  • All visitors must self-assess before visiting the Station Arts Centre. please stay home if you are not feeling well.

  • Visitors are strongly encouraged to wear self-provided masks. We will have disposable masks available as you walk in for a donation, or you can purchase a cloth mask for $5.

  • The Station Arts Centre will limit the building’s capacity and use signage to prevent congestion. We are required to only have a max of 10 people at this time. We will be monitoring the facility and at times there may be a wait to enter. We appreciate your understanding.

  • All visitors and staff must maintain a two-metre distance from each other. Household groups may remain together,  children must stay with an adult at all times.

  • Please do not run in the facility.

  • We encourage visitors to follow a one-way designated path when entering and exiting the Gallery and Baggage Room.

  • The Bridge Street Gallery and Baggage Room is limited to 3 people, unless the group is from the same household.

  • We have placed signage around the Baggage Room/ Gallery to please ask staff for assistance if inquiring about an item. This is to eliminate constant touching of merchandise.

  • Plexiglas barriers have been installed at the front desk.

  • A hand sanitation station has been placed at entry and stringent cleaning practices will be in place throughout the Station Arts Centre.

  • Unfortunately, at this time, the public washroom in the Station Arts Centre will be closed.

  • High-touch points, such as service counters and entry doors, will be cleaned every 30 minutes.

  • We ask for contactless payment if possible for purchases, and no reusable bags. We will provide bags at no charge.

At this time, in Gallery programs are still on hold we are continuing to work with our new regulations and restrictions provided by the Ministry of Health to bring back all your favourite classes safely.

Our COVID CREATE exhibit is live on our website and we encourage everyone to check out the works from 19 talented artists in our Membership.  We are working towards our next exhibit with 9 talented artists that will be back in our Main Gallery for the end of July and will keep everyone posted on the protocols as we approach the opening.

At this time, the In House group meetings are still on hold as we work together to ensure that all meetings are held safely and adhere to safety protocols for the Gallery. We will be in contact with the Heads of all groups and continue to update the community on changes.

We so look forward to seeing everyone soon, if you have any questions please feel free to message tverbuyst@stationarts.ca or kagro@stationarts.ca
