WHATS HAPPENING AT THE STATION

What you need to know before you visit the Tillsonburg Station Arts Centre
The Station Arts Centre has missed their creative artists, friends, families and community and are excited to welcome you all back.
As the Station Arts Centre reopens, our priority is the safety of all visitors and staff. We want to welcome you back in a safe environment so you can reconnect with the remarkable art and artists in our current exhibitions, browse our selection of amazing wares from local artisans and touch base on programs, kits, and tourism information.
We know we're starting the year off with more unpredictability, but here are some things to know upon re-opening of our Gallery.
Plan your visit:
To ensure the well-being of both the Station Arts Centre and visitors, new safety protocols have been established:
-
All visitors must self-assess before visiting the Station Arts Centre. please stay home if you are not feeling well.
-
Visitors are required to wear a mask when inside, staff will turn away anyone failing to comply with regulations. We will have disposable masks available as you walk in for a donation, or you can purchase a cloth mask for $5.
-
Please let us know if you have a medical issue and can not wear a mask upon entry.
-
-
The Station Arts Centre will limit the building’s capacity and use signage to prevent congestion. We are required to only have a max of 10 people at this time. We will be monitoring the facility and at times there may be a wait to enter. We appreciate your understanding.
-
All visitors and staff must maintain a two-metre distance from each other. Household groups may remain together, children must stay with an adult at all times.
-
Please do not run in the facility.
-
We encourage visitors to follow a one-way designated path when entering and exiting the Gallery and Baggage Room.
-
The Bridge Street Gallery and Baggage Room is limited to 3 people, unless the group is from the same household.
-
We have placed signage around the Baggage Room/ Gallery to please ask staff for assistance if inquiring about an item. This is to eliminate constant touching of merchandise.
-
Plexiglas barriers have been installed at the front desk.
-
A hand sanitation station has been placed at entry and stringent cleaning practices will be in place throughout the Station Arts Centre.
-
Unfortunately, at this time, the public washroom in the Station Arts Centre will be closed.
-
High-touch points, such as service counters and entry doors, will be cleaned every 30 minutes.
-
We ask for contactless payment if possible for purchases, and no reusable bags. We will provide bags at no charge.
