PROJECT DETAILS

This is a Tillsonburg and Oxford County Area competition for visual and mixed-media artists who work in 2 Dimensional mediums to create a unique, one of a kind design highlighting 150 Years of Tillsonburg that will be displayed on banners throughout the downtown area.

Through a community-focused Selection Panel, the Tillsonburg 150 Committee will select 1 (one) winning submission artist who will have their design concept displayed on Downtown Tillsonburg flag poles (12 poles) from  April - November. They will be featured in Tillsonburg Newspaper with Chris Abbott, have a booth present at the Tillsonburg 150th event, a small display at mall with the Tillsonburg 150th history/display and a display at the Station Arts Centre. The chosen design will also be used for promotional material for the Tillsonburg 150 Celebration on various mediums. This project aims to celebrate the vibrant and unique history and culture of Tillsonburg and how our community has prospered over the last 150 years.
